Another Troy favorite is closing and we already know what we can expect in its place.

Peck’s Arcade in Downtown Troy will be closed as of June 1st, according to the Times Union.

Owner Vic Christopher said to the Albany Business Review, “Peck’s Arcade is a busy, full-service restaurant. It’s a place where energy is very high and people sit in front of the chefs in the open kitchen, it’s not conducive to a social distancing environment.” In its place, Christopher has decided to revive an older brand, Donna’s Italian Restaurant, which closed in 2017.

To preview the reopening, two pizzas from the Donna’s menu were available to order but may be sold out by now since there were only 40 available.

Starting next Monday, June 1st, food from Donna’s will be available for pick-up or delivery. According to the Times Union, “it will start with six types of pizza and a small selection of pasta dishes, including chicken Parm and shrimp scampi.”
