I love exploring new, local products, especially when I can support a woman-owned business. I had the opportunity to try some treats from Sweet Eats so you can see what makes them so special.
Located in Albany, NY, Sweet Eats is a gluten-free and dairy-free business. According to their website, the woman-owned business was started in 2016 because of a need for more products locally that were made for those with food allergies, sensitivities, or digestive issues. In 2019, Sweet Eats finally opened its storefront on 540 Delaware Ave.
One thing that makes Sweet Eats special is its mission to use the “highest quality ingredients,” which includes no refined sugars, gluten-free rolled oats, dark chocolate, and ancient grains. There is love in each and every product as each bar is hand-cut and each cookie handmade.
Sweet Eats is also available for your business if you wish to buy wholesale. You can currently find them:
- The Dilly Bean, Schenectady
- BARE Juice Bar, Albany
- Square One Cafe, Schenectady
- Brewtus Roasting, Delmar
- Four Seasons Natural Food Store, Saratoga
- Green Grocer, Clifton Park
- Sunflower Natural Foods Market, Woodstock
- Stacks Espresso Bar, Albany + Troy
I had the opportunity to try a bunch of Sweet Eats products. I tried the Almond Breakfast cookie, Chocolate Raspberry Breakfast cookie, Dark Chocolate Raspberry bar, Lemon Coconut bar, and Blueberry Pistachio granola. For a full list of their products, including baking mixes, oatmeal cups, and protein bites, go to their website.
Take a look at my unboxing (or, unbagging in this case) to see what I thought!
