We’re supposed to have some solid weather this Memorial Day weekend, want to spend it at a beach? There are some local beaches you can go to, as long as you social distance.

If you’ve been stuck in your house, had to cancel trips, you’re probably looking for an excuse to go out, right? The Times Union broke down some local beaches that are open where you can spend some quality time outside of the four walls of your house.

  • Grafton Lake State Park will be open this weekend for swimming from 10:00AM to 6:00PM. Visitors will have to social distance and keep blankets and towels at least 10 feet apart. Masks must be worn inside park buildings and restrooms.
  • Moreau Lake State Park will be open from 10:00AM to 6:00PM. Same rules apply and if a social distance cannot be maintained, masks must be worn outside. Concessions will not be open.
  • Thompson’s Lake will be open from 10:00AM-5:45PM and only 100-150 people will be allowed to enter due to the small size of the beach.
  • Million Dollar Beach will be open from 10:00AM-6:00PM and only allow 500 people in at one time. The rest of the beaches in Lake George won’t be open until the end of June. Be sure to follow Lake George guidelines for the weekend.
