5-Year-Old Sets Up Refreshment Stop for Delivery Workers

There’s a lot going on during the pandemic. People are arguing, people have to be separated, people have lost their jobs, but at the end of the day, there’s always good, like this little boy in Niskayuna.

Jack Mahar is a 5-year-old from Niskayuna and instead of video games while being home during the quarantine, he decided to help.

According to CBS6, he’s been a fan of delivery trucks and delivery drivers for awhile. Now, he wants to do something to help them. At the end of his driveway, he has set up a pit-stop or rest area.

While many of us can work from home, delivery workers can’t. Thanks to Mahar, they can take a second during all of their deliveries to catch their breath. We can only assume that people have more deliveries coming while trying to stay in their homes and now the workers can have some food or drink to “take a load off.”
