Usually, when we think of Lake George, we think of summertime but they have a ton of things going on during the winter and one of them is staying in a castle.

The Inn at Erlowest is a beautiful castle just north of Lake George village with beautiful views of the lake. It’s been highly rated in bridal magazines all over the country but it is a beautiful stay even if you’re not making that big step.

The Inn at Erlowest isn’t just a great place to party but they also have beautiful rooms, a different dining experience, and a Winterfest coming up! To start, have you ever had dinner inside an igloo? Take in beautiful winter views of the lake while eating delicious food inside of a heated igloo. Where else can you do that?

After dinner, head to your beautiful suite inside of the castle named after important Lake George-related history. The castle holds 10 beautiful king-sized suites that offer options like breakfast, jetted tubs, fireplaces, beautiful views, and more.

Can’t stay overnight? Coming up is their annual Winterfest on February 1-2nd. During the festival, you can expect some seasonal cocktails, s’mores, and specialized food for winter.
