Brian Bowden is known for being involved with restaurants all over the Capital Region and now, he’s attached his name to another.
Chef Bowden along with his life partner, Carly Mankouski, will soon open Radici Kitchen & Bar in Glens Falls, according to the Times Union. The restaurant will primarily be Italian, but will be “blending Old World flavors with New World ingredients and techniques.”
The restaurant previously in the space, Bistro Tallulah, closed two years ago and was almost going to open as a new restaurant until plans fell through. Now, Bowden will be opening his restaurant in the remodeled space early this year.
Their plan is to have homemade pasta, fresh seafood (cutting fillets fresh), and hand-cut steaks. Bowden spent time on benches in Glens Falls scoping out the area and like how busy it was and though he’s unfamiliar with the immediate area, is excited for having his restaurant there.
The first menu is online for Radici Restaurant & Bar and they’re planning to open January 23rd. “Radici” means roots in Italian and it looks like they’re taking that family feel into the space.
