Axe throwing is becoming a booming business in the Capital Region and now, there’s a new location that opened up north.
Adirondack Axe opened its first location mid-December at 870 Route 9, next to Subway, according to the Post Star. Steve Greene who opened up the location moved back to the area about two years ago. He decided to open up the ax location after enjoying the activity while he was living down south.
There are a few locations getting quite popular in the Albany area but this is the first I’ve heard up north. According to the Post Star, Greene says “Adirondack Axe is perfect for birthday parties, special events, bachelor’s and bachelorette parties and corporate team-building.” It’s also a great way to let off some steam after work for a happy hour, or just when you have a little extra steam to let loose.
