Last Weekend for Rails of Terror
If you’re looking for something spooky for this last weekend before Halloween, check out the Rails of Terror!
You may know the Catskill Mountain Railroad for their Polar Express, the Easter train, but they also host their Rails of Terror for Halloween, according to Only in Your State.
The Rails of Terror has been operating all October long with two-three different rides on each date (6:00pm, 7:00pm, 8:30pm, or 9:00pm). During the train ride, you take in the beautiful views while hearing scary stories about the area.
The ride is recommended for adults and teens to join the masked monsters, clowns, and other creepy characters on the train with you. Tickets are $26 for adults, $24 for seniors, military, or veterans, and $18 for anyone between two and twelve years old.
To buy tickets, go to their website! The train begins in Kingston and as they describe it, “When this train leaves the safety of the Kingston station you are tossed into the hands of the unknown. Our creatures are sure to frighten.”
