Yes, I understand how insane that title sounds but a meat vending machine is coming to Hudson and…I wanna try it?

The Applestone Meat Co. which has been around the Hudson Valley for over a decade has thought up a new idea for Hudson – a meat vending machine. According to the Times Union, they will offer “fresh cuts of meat from its whole-animal butchery that are available via vending machines in a storefront open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.”

If you’re not that familiar with meat enough to make decisions for yourself, they will also have a clerk on duty 11:00am-6:00pm daily to help you out. You can also order online ahead of time and then pick it up at the shop.

There will be seven vending machines, each with a different kind of meat. The machines will be stocked daily with meat that is raised without antibiotics and well-treated. If you want to check it out, it’s at 21 Green St in Hudson.
