You like German food? A traveling German food festival has announced a stop in Albany later this month.
The Northeast tour of “A Taste of Germany” will be making a few stops around here, as well as Bethlehem and Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania and Buffalo and Rochester in New York, according to the Times Union.
“A Taste of Germany,” sponsored by the German American Chamber of Commerce in New York City, will be at at The German-American Club of Albany on Friday, July 26th from 6:00pm-9:00pm. The event is free and will offer food and beverages from about 10 companies.
Their goal is to focus “on intensifying the transatlantic dialogue, international exchange and cooperation between people and cultures, with the aim of establishing and expanding networks. It is intended to demonstrate the areas in which Germany and the host country USA complement one another as partners and can work towards resolving important future tasks.”
