miSci After Dark: Pints and Puppies this Month

I love beer, I love dogs, I love miSci. Put them altogether, and I’m already looking to see if I’m free that night!

miSci in Schenectady has started to become quite recognized for their “After Dark” events. If you’ve never been to miSci before, it’s predominately focused on children. That doesn’t mean that adult-sized/aged children like myself wouldn’t enjoy the exhibits so they’ve been featuring “After Dark” events. I feel like it’s pretty much so we can enjoy what they offer without worrying about taking up the duck pool or bubble exhibit while children are waiting.

Their next exhibit is called “Wolf to Woof: The Story of Dogs” for the summer. With this opening, they’re hosting another After Dark event “Pints and Puppies.” With this event, you will “take part in some “paw-some” dog- and wolf-themed activities,” as well as have the opportunity to experience a special planetarium show.

Wolf Hollow Brewing Company will be on hand as well as cider, wine, and soda will be available along with a food truck. You have a chance to experience the exhibit with people 21+ and pet therapy dogs! It will be at the museum on Friday, July 19th from 6:00pm-9:00pm. Tickets are $12 with $6 extra for a planetarium show. Tickets are limited.
