Alive at Five Announces Acts Coming to Albany 2019
Is it the full line-up? For some reason, no, but we at least know a few of the acts coming to Albany for Alive at Five this year.
This year is Alive at Five’s 30th anniversary and it may mean that they’re working on quite the line-up since they’re only releasing a part of it. The Times Union made the announcement that the shows are still 5:00PM-8:00PM, every Thursday from June through August at Jennings Landing.
June 6th, the headliner will be Donna Missel, who, according to the Times Union, “appeared as a featured artist on Macklemore’s Gemini, wrote songs for the Netflix original series “The Get Down” and played at a pair of sold-out K.Flay shows. Opening acts are Lauren Ruth Ward and LPX.”
June 13th, the headliner will be Travie McCoy, described as “Rapper, songwriter, singer [and]… founding member and front man for Gym Class Heroes.”
July 18th, the headliner is Lettuce, described as “a six-member funk/jazz/soul/experimental collective.”
[UPDATE] July 25th, local artists Wild Adriatic to co-headline with other local talent, Jocelyn & Chris Arndt Band
More acts will be announced soon, the rain location is at the Corning Preserve Boat Launch.
