UB40 Coming to Schenectady
Schenectady has been announcing more and more summer concerts to their new venues on the Mohawk Harbor and the next announcement comes from Rivers Casino & Resort.
As part of their 40th anniversary celebration, UB40, internationally-known reggae band will be coming to Rivers Casino & Resort in Schenectady on Saturday, September 28th.
You know them best from their hits “Kingston Town,” “Food for Thought,” and of course hits “I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You” and “Red Red Wine.” They formed in England in 1978 and named themselves after the British unemployment form. Their debut album “Signing Off” is regarded as one of the best reggae albums released by a British band. They released their newest album in March, “For the Many,” which was their first studio album in five years.
Tickets went on sale Wednesday, May 15th at 10:00am and start at $45 through RiversCasinoAndResort.com, the Proctors Box Office in Downtown Schenectady or Tickets.Proctors.org. Doors open at 7:00pm and the show starts at 8:00pm.
