Are you a sports better and wish there was a place to bet in Rivers?
Rivers Casino & Resort has announced the construction of a new sports betting lounge they’re calling “Rivers Sportsbook.” The lounge will be 5000 feet and located just off the main betting floor adjacent to Van Slyck’s lounge.
According to a press release, construction on the sports book has already started and is expected to be completed by the end of the summer. Pending approval from the New York State Gaming Commission, the sportsbook should be up and running before the NFL season in September.
Rivers Casino & Resort acting General Manager, Justin Moore said, “We think sports fans and sports bettors throughout the Capital Region and beyond will be thrilled with the new sportsbook and are looking forward to welcoming them into the casino to place legal wagers for the first time.”
Pending approval, the new sports book will offer betting on professional football, basketball, baseball, hockey, soccer, college sports and more.
