Free First Aid Offered in Clifton Park

Have you ever wanted to know what to do in a medical emergency? The Town is Clifton Park wants to make sure you’re prepared!

The Town of Clifton Park is offering free first aid training to residents on April 13th, News10 reports. The class will help you with what to do in case you’re in an emergency.

The class will be held at the Clifton Park Halfmoon Emergency Corps from 1:00-4:00pm taught by certified paramedics and certified instructors. They’ll teach you how to treat broken bones, bleeding, and other handy first aid emergency tips.

The Town of Clifton Park offers this opportunity twice a year and you must be a resident and you must preregister. The training is offered along with the American Red Cross for anyone with limited to no first aid or medical experience “who needs a course completion card in first aid use to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.”
