Jerry Springer in Schenectady on Thursday

No, he wasn’t here to host a show and his appearance didn’t lead to any fights (that I know of), but in case you missed it, he was in Schenectady this week.

You may have heard the commercials on your radio or television for Mohawk Auto Center with Jerry Springer. On Thursday, he visited the location in Schenectady.

CBS6 reported that Springer visited to celebrated Mohawk Auto Center’s 100th year in business. As the spokesperson for the company, Springer was on hand for a meet and greet. The City of Schenectady also proclaimed Thursday “Mohawk Auto Center Day.”

Though Springer doesn’t host “The Jerry Springer Show” anymore, the explosive show that made him a household name (those shows still appear in reruns constantly on CW15). He will soon be back on television on his new show “Judge Jerry.”
