Poke Bar Announces Second Location

Poke popularity has been growing quickly in the Capital Region and one of the first places you could get it here, has announced their second location.

/edit Poke Bar 518 closed their first location.

Poke Bar only opened this past June but has been so popular that less than a year later, they’re already announcing their second location, according to the Times Union and their Instagram page.

Will Phan, owner of LAX Restaurant & Lounge on Lark Street, developed Poke Bar has an addition to LAX but it has since grown exponentially. The new location will be in Loudonville between a Price Chopper and Planet Fitness inside of the Kimberly Square plaza near Albany-Shaker and Osborne roads. They’re planning on opening this summer.

If you’re unfamiliar, poke bowls can best be described, I think, as a deconstructed sushi roll. A main dish in Hawaiian cuisine with diced raw fish with your choice of additions.

To follow the journey of the newest location, they’ve created a new Instagram account @The_Poke_Bar_518
