Lark Street, Albany Space Returning as Wine Bar

You may know the space most recently as Mio Posto, or maybe the Wine Bar and Bistro, or even Lark & Lily Wine Bar & Kitchen. Now, it’s announced that a new business is going in there and it’s not too far off from what you remember.

/edit in 2021, Post became 288 Lark Wine & Tap.

It was announced on the Times Union that the Lark Street space will now be the home of Post.

Post is owned by some familiar Capital Region business owners. A partnership between August Rosa (owner of Pint Sized in Albany and Saratoga), Craig Dutra and Nicholas Warchol (partners behind D.P. Dough calzones).

Their focus is going to be a wine bar with craft beer, cocktails, and small plates. The head chef will be Abigail Rudy who was there during the Wine Bar and Bistro version of the building. So far, they’re expecting a spring opening but you’ll have to follow their journey on their social media as the time gets closer.
