The U.S. News & World Report ranked the best hotels in New York in 2019 and New York Upstate put the list together of the best hotels in Upstate New York. I narrowed it down even more to our area so if you’re looking for where to send your family so they’re not staying with you, send this list to them.
Adelphi Hotel [Saratoga]: a 4-star hotel, 39 rooms, where nightly prices start at $209 per night. This historical hotel opened in 1877 and just underwent an incredible renovation recently. Located in busy Downtown Saratoga Springs.
Saratoga Arms [Saratoga]: a 4-star hotel, 31 rooms, and nightly prices start at $209 per night. It’s one of the more historic buildings in Saratoga as a family owned and operated bed and breakfast. Though historical, it’s outfitted with modern amenities and a complimentary breakfast made by a Culinary Institute of America-trained chef.
The Sagamore [Bolton Landing]: a 4-star hotel, 137 rooms, and nightly prices start at $170 per night. The hotel itself dates back to the 1880s and has a breathtaking view of Lake George.
Sun Castle Resort [Lake George]: 3.5-star resort, 34 rooms, and nightly prices start at $200 per night. They offer townhouses and villas instead of traditional hotel rooms. They also offer two beaches, playgrounds, a heated pool, and complimentary kayaks on their beautiful lakefront property.
Holiday Inn Resort [Lake George]: a 3.5-star hotel, 129 rooms, and nightly prices start at $112 per night. This hotel offers and indoor/outdoor pool, special rooms for children, a dinner theatre program, outdoor movies and mini golf.
