Have you ever gone to a party but needed a new pair of shoes? You hate buying a pair of shoes for one night but what else are you going to do? I have a much better option for you!
I first heard about DWTN LUSH from Spectrum News and love what Kierrha Funderburg is doing.
When you see runway shows or hear people talking about “fashion,” it’s like you’re excluded from this secret upper-class club. Funderburg says that doesn’t have to be the case. Just because your wallet says you can’t wear those expensive shoes, doesn’t mean it’s right. Funderburg is only 28-years-old and came up with a way to change our perspective.
DWTN LUSH is a start-up company that allows people locally to rent shoes. Currently, she only has about a dozen customers and hand-delivers the shoes but hopefully her upcoming event will allow her business to grow.
DWTN LUSH is sponsoring a fashion show on February 23rd for a great cause. Proceeds from the event will benefit “The 12 Dancing Princesses” that will provide 12 shoes for local high school girls for prom this upcoming season.
