Disney/Pixar Movie with Live Music Coming to SPAC

I love that SPAC does these events. You can watch one of your favorite movies and it steps it up a level because you’re there with the Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra.

I already announced that Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) will be playing Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets with live music but that’s not all. SPAC will also be doing a similar night with Disney/Pixar’s “Up.”

I saw on the SPAC website that Saturday, August 10th you’ll be able to watch the Disney/Pixar movie “Up” along with live music from the Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra.

Believe it or not, Disney/Pixar’s “Up” is celebrating its 10th anniversary. It’s never before been seen on the SPAC stage, until now.

According to the SPAC website, if you’re unfamiliar with the movie: “The Academy Award-winning film features a 78-year-old curmudgeonly balloon salesman as its hero. When he ties thousands of balloons to his house and flies away to the wilds of South America, he finally fulfills his lifelong dream of adventure. But after Carl discovers an 8-year-old stowaway named Russell, this unlikely duo soon finds themselves on a hilarious journey in a lost world filled with danger and surprises.”
