Mazzone Hospitality Leaving Clifton Park Center

Mazzone Hospitality has announced that after a long partnership, they will no longer be in Clifton Park Center.

The Times Union is reporting that Mazzone Hospitality has decided to not renew their lease with Clifton Park Center/ Hilton Garden Inn. This means that the banquet hall as well as the restaurant Prime Bar + Grill that has been operating there since 2011 will no longer be owned by Mazzone.

The last day of Mazzone ownership will be February 28th. The hotel has told Matt Mazzone that they intend to “take over restaurant and private-event operations, most likely turning the a-la-carte space into one modeled after in-house restaurants at other Hilton properties.” I assume that the name of the restaurant will be changing but there’s no official word on that.

Mazzone Hospitality currently only has the Lounge at Glen Sanders Mansion in Scotia, even though Angelo Mazzone still has financial stake in 677, Aperitivo, Prime at Saratoga National, and Tala. The plan is that the future of the company will be to focus on catering as well as the Albany Capital Center.
