We heard about the Chick-Fil-A coming to the Albany Airport awhile ago but the only way to eat there is to spend money on a plane ticket and go through TSA. Based on a sign found in Colonie Center, could we be seeing another location opening in the area?
STORY DEVELOPING/ UPDATE
A post is being shared around Facebook announcing Chick-Fil-A coming to the Colonie Center but it may be a little misleading. At first, I saw Chick-Fil-A and Colonie Center on the same sign and freaked out but it may not be what we think. The sign (shown below) says that Chick-Fil-A is hiring and they’re holding a job fair at Colonie Center on 9/21 through 9/23.
Now, as I already mentioned, the only confirmed Chick-Fil-A is inside of the airport where you need to get through TSA to access so they couldn’t have their job fair there and need to find another location. Would Colonie Center be their first choice? Couldn’t it be possible that they’re doing a job fair for a yet to be announced Chick-Fil-A location? I sent an email to find out more information. This could either be the biggest let-down or the most exciting thing to hear this week. I’ll let you know when I find out anything.
UPDATE 9/20 9:45PM: In a response from a representative from Chick-Fil-A, “The location of the Chick-fil-A will be located at the Albany International Airport. We are holding an [sic] open interview job fair this weekend starting tomorrow through Sunday.” So it seems as if we’ll still have to wait for a second (more convenient) Chick-Fil-A location, but if you’re interested in a job at the Albany International Airport location, they’re having a job fair this weekend.
NOTE: I would have properly embeded the Facebook post except I wasn’t able to censor it
