Tipsy Moose to Open New Location

What started as a small restaurant opening in Latham has now grown to one of the best places in the Capital Region for beer and macaroni and cheese. Now, they’re opening a new location and we should expect it sooner rather than later.

Tipsy Moose Tavern opened up in the old “Lagerhouse” location in Latham right by the circle in 2016. Now, they have announced that they will be opening a second location in Troy at the old Chester’s Smokehouse near Hudson Valley Community College, according to the Times Union.

They originally were hoping for a spring opening but have now announced that the location is nearly done and should be opening soon, with a mid-late September projection.

I think this second location is perfect. They have a huge number of delicious beer options and their food is some of the more upscale food you can have at bar/tavern prices, this sounds perfect for the students of HVCC. All I have in my mind is having to stop there next year after a Tri-City Valleycats game! Congrats to Tipsy Moose, can’t wait to check it out!
