I went Strawberry picking for the first time this year and now that the strawberry picking season over, it’s onto the next fruit. Let’s pick some blueberries!

Double check on the websites and Facebook pages of these places to make sure they’re open and to verify prices. I found this list thanks to New York Upstate but if you have any to add to the list or have personal experiences at any of these places, let me know so I can add it.

  • Bowman Orchards (Rexford): berry picking goes through August, available are blueberries, cherries, and raspberries as well. Open Monday-Saturday 9 am-5pm, Sunday 12pm-5 pm.
  • Indian Ladder Farms (Altamont): berry picking goes through August, available are raspberries and blackberries as well. Open Tuesday-Friday 9am-1pm, Saturday & Sunday 9am-4pm.
  • Hay Berry Farm (Hoosick Falls): through August, available are herbs and lavender as well. Open Wednesday-Saturday 7:30am-3pm, Sunday 11am-3:30pm.
