What kind of restaurant doesn’t Wolf Rd in Colonie have these days? Apparently, the answer was seafood and now you’ll be able to experience the new Boil Shack.
The Boil Shack is an Asian-style seafood restaurant that will be opening up at the old Bonefish Grill, according to the Times Union. From what I can find, it doesn’t look like a franchise and is being developed by Billy Chow who is best known for being involved with Jade Bistro (Scotia) and Zen Asian Fusion (Schenectady).
There hasn’t been an official date announced yet for the opening but we should be expecting it sooner rather than later, they’re planning for this summer. They do have a Facebook page up with pictures of food which are potentially going to be featured on their menu or stock images of seafood, it’s hard to tell. I’ll keep an eye out for the menu but according to their logo, we know they’ll at least have poke and grilled seafood options.

Love Jade Bistro but hate that name …. seriously?? Boil Shack??
