Southwest to Las Vegas Just Got Easier
If you’ve been looking to plan a trip to Las Vegas, now’s your chance because it just got easier!
Southwest Airlines has decided to resume non-stop daily service between Albany International and Las Vegas in October, according to The Daily Gazette. When Southwest started offering non-stop flights to Denver in April and suspended the Las Vegas flights. The flights to Denver will continue.
“The Las Vegas flight was exceptionally popular among Capital Region and upstate New York travelers, and we welcome its return,” said Kenneth Doyle, chairman of the Albany County Airport Authority.
The non-stop flight will leave Albany at 2:20 PM daily and arrive in Las Vegas about 8:15 PM local time. Of course, aside from these daily flights, Southwest still offers a number of flights with a stopover that will end in Las Vegas.
I went to Las Vegas once from Albany International and though, the travel wasn’t particularly difficult, non-stop is going to make it so much better.
