You may have your go-to spot when you visit the Saratoga Race Course but with the new addition, you may have to change your plans.
The Daily Gazette is reporting that new area will be called “The Stretch” which will be located in the grandstand at the top of the stretch. Apparently, this is the first major structural upgrade since the 1960s which is impressive. It will be open on the first day of the 2018 season offering three-types of viewing boxes each with “enhanced hospitality.”
People in “The Stretch” will have access to a “raised circular bar, touchscreen tables, and premium reserved seating.” They don’t stop there, also offering a full-service kitchen, high-definition television screens, private restrooms, and table service.
You can access “The Stretch” on a seasonal basis with a paid reservation. When I went to request information on “The Stretch,” the offers were for tiered box seating, lounge box seating, flexbox seating, dining tables, reserved bar seating, and premium reserved seating. More information can be requested through NYRA.com. Opening Day of the track this year is July 20th, running through September 3rd.
