Food Tour Companies Collaborate + Taste of Troy Grows [PHOTO]
Taste of Troy already has made its mark on Downtown Troy but now they’re not only growing to a new location but partnering up with food tours all over the state!
The Upstate New York Food Tour Trail, a conglomeration of a group of individually, locally-owned food tour companies throughout Upstate New York has launched on February 1st. Joining together are the companies: Flower City Food Tours (Rochester and Pittsford, NY), Ithaca is Foodies Culinary Tours (Ithaca, NY), Oswego Food & History Tours (Oswego, NY), The Roaming Table – Lewiston Culinary Tours (Lewiston, NY), Sampling Syracuse Food Tours (Syracuse, NY), Saratoga Springs Food Tour (Saratoga Springs, NY), and Taste of Troy Food Tours LLC (Troy and Albany, NY). Guests who attend any Trail member’s tour will receive a discount of 10% off the ticket price all other Trail members’ tours.
Speaking of the Taste of Troy Food Tours LLC, I’ve had the experience to go on that tour and had a great time. Not only learning about the history of Troy, the various food of Troy, but also walking outside on a beautiful day, I couldn’t ask for anything more. You can read more about it in a previous post.
Also, congratulations are in order for Taste of Troy Food Tours LLC who have expanded to the Historic Downtown Albany Food Tour by Taste of Troy Food Tours. Which will run very similarly to the Troy tour but, of course, this will be in Albany. It will feature Albany landmarks/restaurants like: Albany Pump Station, First Church of Albany, Ama Cocina, The Hollow, Capital Melts, Fort Orange General Store, and Stacks Espresso Bar. Albany tours to begin on May 4th.
