The Adelphi Hotel’s New Restaurant: The Blue Hen

We’ve watched the growth and reopening of the Adelphi for the past few years and now that it’s finally open again for business, you can also experience the new restaurant as well.

The Blue Hen is open for breakfast and dinner specializing in contemporary food led by Executive Chef Braden Reardon and his Chef de Cuisine Marc Plessis. Taking a look at the breakfast menu, they have freshly baked items as well as some of the breakfast basics you’d be looking for: steel-cut Oatmeal, King Crab Benedict, Housemade Maple Granola, and more! I especially have my eyes on the Shakshuka.

For dinner, there are some amazing starters like raised octopus, quail, and sweetbread. Entrees include a venison rack, sourdough crusted trout, duck breast and more. What I like best about their food selections is that they use fresh, sustainable, local ingredients served 7 days per week. Breakfast will be served Monday through Sunday, from 6:30 AM – 11:00 AM. Dinner will be served Sunday through Thursday from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM and Friday through Sunday from 6:00 PM through 10:30 PM.
