Ronald McDonald House Charities Masquerade Location Announce
The Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region is such an amazing organization in our area, helping those who have children getting treatment at Albany Med. Every year they look forward to the annual Masquerade and though it’s usually in Albany they have just announced this year’s location is changing.
They say that like the differences between the rooms in the Ronald McDonald House, each year of The Masquerade has a different theme. Past masquerades have included circus-like performers, a Wonderland-like Mad Hatter’s Ball, and this year will bring guests back in time to The Streets of London at the turn of the century.
The Masquerade was created in 2015 to bring a unique and creative event to the Capital Region. Guests are encouraged to dress the part by arriving in mask and formal costume. This year’s event will be held the Friday of Halloween weekend and all proceeds from the event will go to the Ronald McDonald House Charities. Though the event is usually held in Albany, the Ronald McDonald House Charities would like to announce that this year’s masquerade will be at the Schenectady Armory.
