Another New Bar/Restaurant Opening in Schenectady

Being from Schenectady, I love seeing the growth of my city with new hotels, obviously the casino, shuttle and now more new places to eat and drink while downtown.

You may be familiar with Old Daley Custom Catering but now they’re expanding to Daley’s on Yates. Opening in an old taxi garage on Yates Street, there are no official details on the exact date. They did mention that their menu with be diverse, inclusive and also have specialty cocktails and extensive wine list. You may be familiar with Executive Chef Elliott Vogel, winner of the 2017 Rising Star Chef Awards who will focus on “cross-cultural gourmet comfort” which sounds interesting!

I not only love seeing this Troy-based business spreading its roots further in the Capital Region but utilizing a space that has gone unused for quite sometime. They will keep the garage doors already in place to open out into a tree adorned patio with fire pits on the cooler nights. Tentatively, they’re hoping to open late August.
