After being missing for eight years, Hot Dog Charlie’s has returned to the area with a ribbon cutting this past Thursday.
Hot Dog Charlie’s opened up at its new location on the corner of 5th Ave and 112th Street in Lansingburgh. The store had its soft opening on May 6th, according to the Troy Record, and is only blocks from the original location that was destroyed by a fire in July 2009.
Third-generation owner Chuck Fentekes is happy to finally bring Hot Dog Charlie’s to its roots. First opened in 1922 in Downtown Troy, this will be the largest of the four locations. It will have its own parking lot, a patio as well as indoor seating. They announced that all of your favorite menu items will be found including their mini dogs and chili sauce.
