Taste of Troy Food Tours: Breakfast at Noon
June 24th, I will embark on a beautiful walking tour through one of the gems of the Capital Region, Troy. Taste of Troy Food Tours is a three-hour walking tour through beautiful Troy eating some of the best of what the city has to offer which runs May through October. This year, is a special event you may want to be a part of.
Breakfast at Noon, on June 10th, is a partnership with Amy Halloran who is the first Troy Waterfront Market manager as well as author of The New Bread Basket and the Arts Center of the Capital District. Guests with get a guided tour through the Troy Farmer’s Market, a history/art lesson of Troy, ending back at the Arts Center for delicious waffles. Why waffles? There’s actually a connection to Troy’s history that you’ll have to go to find out about. The event is $55 and adults only.
If you’re curious about a regular Taste of Troy Food Tour, keep an eye out on my blog around June 24th where I’ll tell you all about it. The tour features Psychedelicatessen, The Whistling Kettle, Illium Cafe, Brown’s Brewing Company, and nibble inc. The three-hour tour ends at the famous Troy Waterfront Market after learning a bit about the history and briefly exploring St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. Tickets are $49 that cover all drinks and tastings and take place in rain or shine.
