“After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music.”

Aldous Huxley

Summer is coming to an end which means the end of outdoor music festivals and the beginning of pumpkins, beautiful leaves and a little colder weather. Don’t worry though, there’s still plenty of time to take part in all of the great summer activities for the rest of August. One of my favorite Summer SPOTS is Freedom Park in Scotia. Each Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday check out music during the Freedom Park concert series. The best part aside from the music? It’s next door to Jumpin Jacks! Grab yourself a Jackburger and some ice cream, sit on your blanket or chair and enjoy the music. My favorite part of the concert is to watch all the people getting in front of the stage and dancing. I’ve seen some great swing dancing, some Irish jigging and some little kids just moving to the music. There are only a few weeks left so if you find yourself free on a Saturday, Sunday or Wednesday, this is where everyone is! & It’s FREE!
