“Music doesn’t lie. If there is something to be changed in this world, then it can only happen through music.”

Jimi Hendrix

I love music. I would find it hard to believe that there are people out there who don’t. I started guitar a few years ago and though I do enjoy it, I haven’t played it as much as I wish I did. I frequent the piano more than anything. VanCurler Sure, I can play a bunch of learning books and find guitar tabs online but the real satisfaction of an instrument is when you have the ability to fully play a song that you are familiar with. I first looked up music online but with the original price added with the shipping price, it was more than I was looking to pay and I didn’t have a great selection.

I was in the Proctors arcade a few months ago and came across Schenectady VanCurler. They have music for almost any instrument you’re looking for from beginner to expert including vocal. I asked if they had a particular song I was looking for in the store and after checking inventory  they didn’t. They did tell me that the song was available for them to order in store for no extra price. It was fantastic! A little over a week later, I got a phone call that the sheet music for my song came in. It was great to know that I have the ability to order any particular song that’s available to them. The next time I went in I purchased some blank manuscript paper. Just being in and around that store inspires me to sing or play an instrument and realize how long it’s been since I’ve dedicated any serious time to music. No feeling is better than working on a song and getting it perfect that first time. Hopefully with my new manuscript paper I’ll be able to write some music of my own when I’m not looking for new music to play from VanCurler. If you haven’t checked this place out and you’re a musician, you’re missing out. Add some music to your repertoire and buy it local!
